Asheville, N.C. – Sept. 25, 2019 – JBS-USA LLC, Greeley, Colo., was recognized with the No. 3 Sales Volume International Packer and 4 Million Head Certified awards by the Certified Angus Beef ® brand. The awards were presented at the brand’s Annual Conference, held Sept. 23-25, in Asheville, N.C. Brand partners at the conference, including meat processors, distributors, chefs, retailers and cattle ranchers, explored merchandising and marketing solutions to satisfy growing consumer demand for great-tasting beef.

JBS supported customer success in Mexico through merchandising and marketing solutions to earn the international award. The team participated in a planning meeting and product features with retailers, as well as restaurant promotions. Distributor solutions included support at tradeshows and culinary events in the region.

Additionally, the JBS Greeley plant received the 4 Million Head Certified Award for cumulative number of carcasses certified for the brand since its first days as a participating fabricator. The plant focused on delivering the branded beef cuts, especially middle meats, and helped educate food customers about the brand’s assured quality.
