Asheville, N.C. – Sept. 25, 2019 – Golden West Food Group, Vernon, Calif., was recognized as the Value-added Products Processor of the Year by the Certified Angus Beef ® brand. The award was presented at the brand’s Annual Conference, held Sept. 23-25, in Asheville, N.C. Brand partners at the conference, including meat processors, distributors, chefs, retailers and cattle ranchers, explored merchandising and marketing solutions to satisfy growing consumer demand for great-tasting beef.
In business more than four decades, Golden West Food Group offers premium-quality meats to food distributors, restaurateurs and grocers. “We are all about premium products, and the Certified Angus Beef ® brand being as premium as it is resonates exactly into what we do,” says Zack Levensen, chief operating officer.
Golden West Food Group has been starting with Certified Angus Beef ® brand fresh cuts to create unique beef items since 2012.
