The award was presented at the brand’s Annual Conference, held Sept. 23-25, in Asheville, N.C. Brand partners at the conference, including meat processors, distributors, chefs, retailers and cattle ranchers, explored merchandising and marketing solutions to satisfy growing consumer demand for great-tasting beef.

Sysco Atlanta worked closely with customers to deliver the branded beef steaks to top restaurants in the market, as well as specialty cuts that are popular in Latin and Asian cuisines. Team members gained hands-on experience at the Certified Angus Beef ® Culinary Center to gain beef knowledge on multiple cuisines. Additionally, Sysco Atlanta helped customers ensure the branded beef is easily identifiable by name, assuring restaurant patrons of its quality.
