On October 18, 1978, the first pound of the Certified Angus Beef ® brand was sold in a Columbus, Ohio, grocery store. This year, the brand closed its seventh consecutive year with more than a billion pounds of beef sold in 54 countries. For 44 years, selling that much high-quality beef has taken a community across the entire value chain. We look forward to selling the best-tasting beef for years to come.
