Members of the cooking class at Wooster (Ohio) High School recently paid a visit to the Certified Angus Beef Culinary Center, located in their hometown, to learn more about high quality beef, how the company works with a community of people from the farm to the table and hear more about a range of potential career paths. During their visit, Executive Chef Ashley Breneman and Meat Scientist Diana Clark explained the 10 specifications beef must meet to earn the Certified Angus Beef ® brand name, as well as how those specifications enhance consumers’ eating experience. The difference was illustrated when they sampled, and compared, Certified Angus Beef ® brand and USDA Choice steaks.
