Certified Angus Beef ® brand hosts #BestAngusBeef Ever Tour
WOOSTER, Ohio – March 18, 2019 – A worldwide beacon of quality, Certified Angus Beef LLC is, for the first time, hosting a series of four one-night-only, special events across the Middle East, March 19-26, to showcase the brand’s noted quality.
Chef Tony Biggs, director of culinary arts for the Certified Angus Beef ® brand, will partner with special guest chefs from the region to feature a variety of different beef cuts, prepared in ways designed to sizzle and inspire. Guest chefs include Howard Bender, Georgios Kastanias, David Harnois, John Havens, Murad Ibrahim, Essam Nabhan, Nojoud Saadeddin, Mauro Bellodi and Mahmoud Almarridi.
“We couldn’t be more excited for these talented chefs to show off some amazing, and dramatic, applications for premium Certified Angus Beef ® brand products,” says Gebran Charbine, director of international marketing for the brand. “Guests will be able to see—and taste—for themselves why the brand has become the largest and best Angus beef program in the world, and find lots of inspiration to take back to their customers.”
The invitation-only events include:
- 19 March, 6:30-9:30 p.m., at the Radisson Blu, Kuwait
- 21 March, 6:30-9:30 p.m., at the Sheraton Grand Doha Resort, Qatar
- 24 March, 6:30-9:30 p.m., at the Marriott Al Jaddaf rooftop, Dubai, UAE
In addition, Biggs will feature the brand on Bahar Wa Nar on Amman TV with Chef Nojoud Saadeddin in Jordan on March 26.
The events, hosted by Charbine and Jessica LoPresto, the brand’s executive account manager for the Middle East and Southeast Asia, will feature fresh Certified Angus Beef ® and Certified Angus Beef ® brand Prime cuts, as well as uncured beef strips from Schmacon™ prepared by Bender, and authentic, Greek-style beef gyros from Megas Yeeros™ prepared by Kastanias. Also supporting the #BestAngusBeef Ever Tour are the U.S. Meat Export Federation and the U.S. Beef Checkoff program.
